Simple answer? MOVE YOUR ASS. Longer answer? MOVE YOUR ASS AND EAT IN MODERATION.
Hyperbolic? Not at all. Overly simplistic? Maybe in text, but not in principle. In the next few weeks you should make it your goal to work out at least 4 days per week, and in those workouts be doing a variety of activities (it is the spice of life, you know.) Any secret workout that burns the most calories, you ask? Which ever one you do consistently that challenges you will do nicely. Now would be a great time to get started with your trainer, if you aren't sure where to start!
As for food, the rules are still the same as always - base your meals around a protein and a vegetable, and intake carbs before or after your workout. Drink a lot of water, and get enough sleep. Boom. Now, if you want to be a bit more aggressive about your fat loss, you can remove starchy carbs and fruits from your diet for the next 3 weeks, and I guarantee that you will see some more dramatic changes. This is due to the likely decrease in calories you will take in, as well as cutting down the sugar content of your day. Ask me what I mean by that, if you care to hear some nerdspeak :-) But, as far as blanket statements go, eat in moderation! Don't go for seconds, keep your portions in check, drink water with every meal, and don't overdo any one ingredient on your plates.
That's pretty much it, kids. Any questions can be directed to me on Facebook, or an inquiry on my Personal Training tab. Happy Hump Day!
